I didn't even answer the door when the Census woman knocked. I just peeked through the peephole and pretended I wasn't home XD. I didn't bother calling her back the three or four times she left her contact info. It's called privacy.

well i dont see anything with a timeframe as to when the forms must be sent back. So I will just get to it at my own timeframe.

I submitted my census form with the answer '2' for occupants and that was all. They have come twice now to my door asking for more information. Each time I just walked out and asked them to follow me to the front of my property where I inform them that I filled out all the requirements. Then I point to the ground and say, "See this grass right here. This is my property and this over here is public, I would prefer it if you stay on that side, OK?" Then I just walk away back into my house.

I responded to the census only giving number of residents, age and sex and the rest of the questions wrote none of your business so they have left notes taped to my gate in english and spanish 5 times now and today I recieved another letter saying that I will be receiving a questionare to show not only how many people live here but wanting to know about housing, jobs, education, and more. These are profiling questions and its not right!! Stand up america its time to put the gov. in its place!!

@brnsimpson Very interesting, so:1) There is no need to take the census.2) Where is this "public record" of my personal information?
brnsimpson (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
I worked for the census, when we could not get info from you, we went to the tax role. more personal info there than the census ever collects and tax rolls are public record. Census is really benign info.

I bet the census bureau hate us. We only answered that there is only two of living here, we are married, and are American as "other" race. We received a second census form in the mail a month later. We did not send that one back. During WWII the information from the 1940 census was used to gather together Japanese citizens and gathered them together to work them and keep them under surveillance. So we do not answer more than our numbers, and that we are American. All else can be used against us

I want them to STOP calling me!
