@joangalagee I couldn't agree more. The thing about Sonic Youth is that they refused to call it a day. I think pretty much everything pre-Jet Set was golden. Beyond that they kinda lost their edge (most likely because they didn't have anything else to say). But man....you take an album like Confusion is Sex that is successfully agressive and dark without an ounce of bravado and Daydream Nation that pretty much defined a generation, you've got real legends. Just with they knew when to hang it up

Sonic Youth have spawned a huge audience of people trying to be cool by association rather than liking their music. I seen them last , hated 50% of the crowd there as they had no idea what was going on and talked loudly, paid no attention to the music, and some even slept through parts. I think some of what they do is truly original and awesome but they also produce a lot of crap. This song however is in the awesome category. I wish people would just like them for more than being cool by assoc
