Nicely put.It is possibly overly esoteric to debate difference and similarity between and across species.We are topologically and architecturally different to the eye but aren't we all working as more functionally similar cogs in a bigger organism?Just a thought.

It is entirely reasonable that darwin's principle would be at work, but for a human being, and one of those other-worldly beings to evolve up to nearly the exact same organism... that is just exceedingly unlikely. And if there's one species, there must be dozens. And they all look very, very similar.I can understand evolving mechanisms to "sense" the world, like eyes, ears, and some kind of energy-transfer (mouth/anus), but we look just as much like them as we do like chimps. |
